Article 1: Organization
BIKE RANDO ASD together with partners: Amatori San Gimignano — Ass. Pro Sasso ETS — Bulletta Bike - Valdarbia Cycling — Labronica Bike Team — MarevettaMare, organizes from 4 to 8 June 2025, the “999TUSCANY Grand Rando” — ACP/BRM patent for a total distance of 1,150 km on an entirely Tuscan route in free personal excursion and without any other assistance that is not authorized by the organizer. The patent complies with the LRM regulations - patents Randonneurs Mondiaux and the FCI - Italian Cycling Federation and is valid for the ARI IGT challenge (Grand Tour Italy).
Article 2: Admission
The “999TUSCANY Grand Rando” is open to cyclists who have reached 18 years of age regardless of gender who are regularly registered and in possession of a regular license valid for the year 2025 issued by an association or sports club affiliated to the UCI (International Cycling Union) or to a body or federation legally recognized by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee).
All Participants must have a competitive medical certificate issued by a Sports Medical Center, dated before June 6, 2025 and in any case valid at least until June 30, 2025. The medical certificate must certify the physical fitness for cycling of a non-competitive endurance test and of significant and high cardiovascular commitment.
Cyclists over 75 years of age (calendar year) must have a medical certificate of competitive fitness or high cardiovascular impact, for the practice of cycling, not older than six months.
For foreign cyclists
Foreign cyclists must be in possession of:
- a competitive medical certificate issued by a Sports Medical Center, for the cycling of a non-competitive endurance test with a significant and high cardiovascular commitment dated before June 6, 2025 and in any case valid at least until June 30, 2025
- of a regular personal liability insurance for the year 2025 and valid in Italy.
Article 3: Registrations
Registration can only be made online on the website www.999tuscany.it, through the Njuko platform, starting from November 11, 2024 until May 25, 2025 individually, or as a couple, up to 500 participants, in the manner described in the “Registrations” page of this same site.
The registration will be valid with the completion of all the required mandatory fields and will be finalized only after payment by credit card, connected to the registration form on the site.
The available places will be assigned numerically in chronological order of registration.
Once the above procedure is over, the participating cyclist will immediately receive by e-mail, the confirmation of the registration, the booking code and the link to access their profile to allow them to modify some data or insert new documents
Every participating cyclist will have the right to:
▪ Identification number through a plate to be affixed to the bicycle frame
▪ Roadbook with GPX tracks of the route and stops for refreshments and checks
▪ Detection of passage times at 17 control points through ICRON virtual assistance
▪ 13 Refreshments, 8 Dorms, 1 Bag Drop (double pass)
▪ Contacts and availability of the organizing committee on the route

BASIC REGISTRATION FEE
- Cost: 180.00€ - from November 11, 2024 to December 31, 2024 and in any case no more than the limit of 500 registered cyclists is reached.
- Cost 200.00€ from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025 and in any case no more than the limit of 500 registered cyclists is reached.
- Cost 230.00€ from April 1, 2025 to May 25, 2025 and in any case no later than reaching the limit of 500 registered cyclists.
For ARICARD holders valid in the current year, a discount of €10 is applied.
REGISTRATIONS FOR COUPLES
- 320€ from November 11, 2024 to December 31, 2024 and in any case no more than the limit of 500 registered cyclists is reached.
- 380€ from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025 and in any case no more than the limit of 500 registered cyclists is reached and
- 420€ from April 1, 2025 to May 25, 2025 and in any case no later than reaching the limit of 500 registered cyclists
If the organization finds fees that do not match the indicated payment and do not correspond to the personal data of the participating cyclist, it does not proceed with the definitive registration and does not implement procedures for the return of the amount collected.
EVENT TECHNICAL JERSEY
The event's technical jersey supplied by a top of the range brand can be booked at an additional promotional cost of €40.00.
LIST OF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS and to be inserted in the personal card at the time of registration and, later, for documents valid for the year 2025, they must be inserted starting from January 1 through the booking code and the link received by email at the time of confirmation of registration to access your profile no later than 31 May 2025:
Italian cyclists
- Card issued by the U.C.I. and/or Federation, and/or EPS Entity valid for the year 2025 front and back
- Competitive medical certificate, dated before June 6, 2025 issued by a Sports Physician, for cycling at a non-competitive endurance test with significant and high cardiovascular commitment valid at least until 30 June 2025
- Alternatively, you can enter the data of the ARI CARD valid for the year 2025
Foreign Cyclists
- Copy of a personal identity document and/or if you have a copy of the sports license card valid in the year 2025 issued by an association or sports club affiliated with the UCI (international cycling union)
- Competitive medical certificate, issued by a Sports Physician at a sports medical center dated before June 6, 2025 issued by a Sports Physician, for the practice of cycling at a non-competitive test of endurance and of significant and high cardiovascular commitment valid until at least 30 June 2025 By filling out the appropriate attached form in English.
- Accident and RC (civil liability) insurance policy valid in Italy and for the minimum period from 31 May to 30 June 2025
For registrations made in the year 2024, the documents in force must be entered.
BAG DROP SERVICE:

The BagDrop service is OPTIONAL and can be booked during registration, or during registration on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 08:00 to 13:00) at La Sterpaia - Tenuta di San Rossore.
The BagDrop service includes:
No. 1 bag provided by the organization on Wednesday, June 4 during the registration phase
The Bag Drop will be activated and available at the two checkpoints of Ponte d'Arbia (SI): at km 393 and at km 690. In addition to a refreshment and dormitory
In the bag, the cyclist places everything he needs, for the two control points, respecting the overall dimensions. Glass containers and food that are not properly sealed are absolutely excluded.
The cyclist delivers the personal bag, to the indicated collection point, on which their alphanumeric identification number is written externally, no later than 14:00 on Wednesday, June 4, 2025
At the control of Ponte d'Arbia, the cyclist finds the personal bag available starting from the opening of the control gate and service indicated in the Road Book.
The cyclist will be able to recover the personal bag upon arrival at the San Rossore Park
Any bag drop bags not collected upon arrival can be recovered by submitting a shipping request with all the expenses borne by the applicant by contacting the organizer BIKERANDO ASD, by email at 999tuscany@gmail.com no later than 30 June 2025.
Materials not collected or requested after 30 June 2025 will be disposed of
Communications to subscribers
Communications and correspondence to subscribers are made via personal e-mail through the Njuko platform, used for registrations on the website www.999tuscany.it
Article 4: Cancellation and Refund
In case of cancellation of the event, by the Organization, due to the occurrence of extraordinary and unpredictable events that do not allow it to take place due to legal provisions or for the loss of general security conditions, all members (regardless of the fee) will be reimbursed by 20 December 2025 for a total flat rate of 90 EURO, without any additional compensation. No other compensation will be paid.
In the event that a cyclist renounces participation, the organization will reimburse 30% of the amount of the registration paid, the notice of cancellation must be communicated only before 15 May 2025 by email to the address 999tuscany@gmail.com
The waiver must be supported by documentation proving the cyclist's unavailability.
The documentation will be accepted and judged only at the sole discretion of the BIKE RANDO ASD organization
The fee will be reimbursed through an electronic payment system starting from November 01, 2025.
Article 5: Approval of vehicles
The vehicles must comply with the regulations while complying with the rules of the CdS Highway Code in force.
All two or three-wheeled vehicles with a handlebar and driven by muscle force through a chain transmission system with the use of pedals are allowed. The vehicles must not have a width greater than 1 meter..
Aerodynamic extensions and/or bars are allowed with a maximum length that does not exceed the horizontal line of the brake handle.
For recumbent vehicles, it is recommended to provide protection on the pedals, fixed to the frame or a hard drive slightly larger than the large platform, to have a rearview mirror, to have a rod at the rear of which are fixed at the top of which reflective bands larger than 30 cm x 5 cm are attached.
The faired vehicles must be absolutely equipped with reflective strips in the front, on the two sides, in the back with reflective strips larger than 30 cm x 5 cm. To have a side mirror both to the right and to the left, to have a rod at the back of which reflective strips larger than 30 cm x 5 cm are attached.
Braking system for all vehicles
All vehicles, without exception, must have a suitable braking system with direct action on wheels with cable transmission, or hydraulic, or rigid levers. - to have checked the state of wear and tear of the braking system and to always maintain the condition of their vehicle appropriate to the rules of the Highway Code.
Lighting for all vehicles
The vehicles must be equipped with a sufficiently powerful fixed lighting system, it must be visible 100 meters in front and 150 meters behind. The front light must be WHITE, the rear light must be RED This lighting must be firmly fixed and permanently on the vehicle, even during the day, and in a constant state of operation. For rear lighting, red flashing diodes are prohibited.
The lighting must be turned on when darkness falls until dawn, or when visibility becomes insufficient, whether the participant is alone or in a group.
If the participant is stopped due to a lack of lighting, null or insufficient, he will not be allowed to start again until the fault has been repaired, unless he has an emergency lighting system to reach the next control point.
It is recommended that the participating cyclist have suitable equipment for a secondary lighting system in the event of a failure in the main one.
Individuation
To facilitate the control of the vehicle and to facilitate the identification of the cyclist during the course, an alphanumeric frame plate will be given to each participant, and this must be perfectly visible and remain solidly attached to the frame for the duration of the test.
eBike vehicles (assisted pedaling)
It is possible to participate in the “999 Tuscany Grand Rando” with the eBike. The vehicle used must comply with the rules of the highway code in force (art.50 C.Strada).
If you participate with an eBike, no BRM-ACP approval can be granted
equipping
It is mandatory to wear a reflective vest or reflective bands such as (EN ISO 20247 or EN 1150) during night trips or due to lack of or insufficient lighting.
The reflective accessory must be worn during the verification check of the vehicles upon departure, which will take place starting at 08:00 on Wednesday, June 4.
It is mandatory to wear a hardshell protective helmet, in compliance with legal regulations and approved, for the entire duration of the event.
Non-respect involves exclusion from the event
Article 6: Itinerary and controls
The itinerary of the route complies with that described in the official road book, which the organizer will make visible and definitive on the website from 26 May 2025, indicating the links useful for downloading the GPX information and tracks of each individual stage. All versions prior to that date are to be considered for information purposes only and are being updated.
The organizer reserves the right to modify the route and/or control points, in the event that the authorization to use the roads identified to be taken has not been granted or there are interruptions due to force majeure (road works, weather, etc...)
The route includes 13 refreshments, including 8 with dorms - 1 bag drop (double pass) - with official pass detection controls in the following locations:

Participants are required to remain on the established itinerary, indicated in the roadbook. The cyclist who is no longer on the official itinerary of the event does not benefit from insurance and assistance rights and is considered to have been withdrawn from it for all intents and purposes.
The participant has the obligation to know and to comply at all times with strict compliance with the regulations of the CdS highway code currently in force as he is a road user on a personal free excursion.
None of the roads traveled or crossed along the routes will be manned by the organizer.
Every participant must consider themselves a free and personal excursion, the organizer cannot in any way be held responsible for the accidents that may occur during the excursion.
In any case and at any time, the participant and his possible companions must follow and comply with the reports notified and prepared by the organizers.
Article 7: Travel card and frame plate
At the preliminary checks, each participant will receive a travel card and a clearly visible alphanumeric identification plate to be rigidly attached to the frame. He will have to keep them and will be responsible for them.
The loss of the travel card, the lack of a single fixed or secret control visa, an incomplete or irregular control visa will result in the non-approval of the patent.
For the purpose of final approval, the electronic confirmation of the passages scanned with the Qcode telephone (ICRON) will prevail; however, the delivery of the control card certifying the passage from all defined and secret checkpoints will be necessary.
Article 7: Travel card and frame plate

Article 8: Briefing and accreditation operations
The briefing, reserved for all participants, will be held on Wednesday, June 4 at 11:00 a.m. Afterwards, there will be a welcome refreshment.
Accreditation operations will be carried out in the appropriate room inside Sterpaia (San Rossore Park) starting from 14:00 to 20:00 on Tuesday, June 3 and will continue on Wednesday, June 4 from 08:00 to 13:00
The cyclist participant must show:
1) Identity document
2) RISK ASSUMPTION AWARENESS STATEMENT and LIABILITY RELEASE duly signed
Then they will be given: - the travel card; - the identification frame plate to be placed on the chassis of the vehicle - race pack containing what is indicated in the list of materials provided, any bag for the BagDrop
BICYCLE checks
It will take place at the San Rossore Park starting at 08:00 on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, until 16:00 before the official departure that will take place starting at 17:00 following.
During this check, cyclists must show:
• your vehicle identified with the number applied to the frame
• the travel card
• suitable braking system with direct action on wheels with cable or hydraulic transmission
• fully functional lighting systems on the vehicle (front/back)
• wear the approved helmet and for the duration of the event
• wear the reflective vest and/or reflective bands
The start will take place starting at 17.00 in succession of groups of max. 15 cyclists spaced 5 (five) minutes between one group and the next. The numbering in order to register will be respected.
Article 9: Opening and Closing of Controls
The times indicated on the travel card given to each participating cyclist define the opening and closing times of the checkpoints.
The transit of the participating cyclist at every checkpoint is MANDATORY. The passage to the control point will be carried out with the scan of the specially installed and clearly visible QCode (IRCON application).
The participating cyclist cannot start again before the opening hours indicated for that check.
ARRIVAL — SAN ROSSORE PARK — Event deadline:
The closing of the check upon final arrival will be carried out only after 94 hours and in any case not after 21 hours on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
In the event of a material accident in the vehicle or a delay due to other causes, it is possible to justify the accumulated delay which, in any case, must be reabsorbed at the latest within the next 2 checks.
If the cyclist is unable to identify the control point, the cyclist can justify the passage to the indicated place by attaching and showing a photo to the control of the final arrival at Parco di San Rossore indicating the country, the day and the time of passage.
Article 10: Approval, withdrawals and maximum overdue time
No patent will be approved and approved with a value lower than 58 hours or greater than 94 hours in total. For those who exceed this time limit, they will still be awarded a certificate with a personalized time
The participant who retires has the obligation to notify the BIKERANDO ASD organization within two hours of the withdrawal, informing by telephone the telephone numbers entered on the travel card
Article 11: Assistance cars present only in places of control
Any form of assistance on the official route to participating cyclists is PROHIBITED, unless a state of danger or necessity occurs, outside the places where the checkpoints are located.
Assistance is granted only at checkpoints.
Participating cyclists who wish to have an assistance car must report it at the time of registration by filling out a special document
Assistance cars must follow a different itinerary from that of the participating cyclists to reach the control point
The service car must be in possession of valid insurance and a photocopy must be shown.
Article 12: Penalties
BIKERANDO ASD organizer will carry out checks along the way through official motorized controllers, identifiable by a distinctive sign. These will verify the movement of cyclists along the route and any infractions committed.
Violations of the regulation, found by official controllers, will be penalized with a final hour of delay
Participants who behave disrespectfully towards people, things and the environment will be excluded from the event
Article 13: Regulations
BIKERANDO ASD declares that the documents: the Regulations, the Declaration of Risk Assumption Awareness and Disclaimer are the only valid reference document in case of disputes in the appropriate offices.
The participating cyclist, when registering on the website www.999tuscany.it, expressly declares to have read the Regulations on the relevant Web page and to “have carefully read and understood” these Regulations written in the language understandable to them, and to accept them without any exception and/or dispute and/or reservation in its entirety.
Article 14: Amendments
BIKERANDO ASD reserves the right to modify and update these regulations, making them available through the dedicated section of the website www.999tuscany.it
Article 15: Update
BIKERANDO ASD may change the test conditions to the extent possible.
Decisions or any changes will be brought to the attention of the participant via personal e-mail or through the official website
Article 16: Competent Court
For any dispute relating to the interpretation of these regulations or deriving from participation in the Event, including those involving claims or injuries of any kind, the exclusively competent court will be that of Siena, with the exception of competing and/or alternative forums.
